Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Commis Chef to join our culinary team. You will play a vital role in food preparation and kitchen operations, supporting our chefs in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Key Responsibilities

• 1Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items under the guidance of senior chefs.
• 2Ensure high standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained in the kitchen at all times.
• 3Coordinate with kitchen staff to maintain efficient workflow during service hours.
• 4Develop and maintain knowledge of menu items and ingredients to provide accurate information to team and guests.
• 5Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and equipment.
• 6Support the creation of new dishes and menu items by providing ideas and feedback.
• 7Participate in stock management, including inventory control and ordering supplies as needed.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar kitchen role.
• Proficient in food preparation techniques and understanding of various cooking methods.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
